Chicago
This past weekend I spent it in Chicago. I go there often to get away. There is an apartment there that family keeps just in case someone would like to go there. Well this weekend was one of those weekends I needed to get away. Normally when I come into town I go to some type of concert. Normally I go to a blues club and stay there all night. This time I came across a new type of concert. A friend invited me to a Concert, on the south side, of a band named lotus. He just kept saying they were awesome and I needed to come. So I came along for the adventure. As I entered the club it was amazing. There were laser lights everywhere. The opening band was awesome. It was packed. The feature band Lotus came on. They were what I can describe as a mix between a jam band and techno. It was weird, very weird but great. This was a concert I would recommend for anyone. It was a great experience. You should all check them out.

Hi,Amy Jo I know this is an older blog but I thought I'd comment on it any way. Are you a fan of the blues? I'm a big fan! Chicago is home to some of the great blues artist of our time and it's great you go to the blues clubs.In Billings Montana near where I live they have a blues festival(Magic City Blues Festival) every August it's a blues good time.You wouldn't think they would have something like that in cowboy country but they pack the house every year.
