Crazy Chicago

Went to Chicago for 3 days this week before exams. It was freezing. I do not know where I got the idea of going shopping during this time of year. I must have been crazy. It was horrible pushing, shoving-people taking things out of your hands it was crazy. I lasted about um 40 minutes and left with nothing but a hot tea from Starbucks. The best part was I could not even catch a cab around the area because of the amount of people. I had to walk about 4 miles ways from the place to find one. After that adventure I had to go get a bloodymary.

Chicago

This past weekend I spent it in Chicago. I go there often to get away. There is an apartment there that family keeps just in case someone would like to go there. Well this weekend was one of those weekends I needed to get away. Normally when I come into town I go to some type of concert. Normally I go to a blues club and stay there all night. This time I came across a new type of concert. A friend invited me to a Concert, on the south side, of a band named lotus. He just kept saying they were awesome and I needed to come. So I came along for the adventure. As I entered the club it was amazing. There were laser lights everywhere. The opening band was awesome. It was packed. The feature band Lotus came on. They were what I can describe as a mix between a jam band and techno. It was weird, very weird but great. This was a concert I would recommend for anyone. It was a great experience. You should all check them out.
